PakCanoe 170 is a wilderness workhorse folding canoe. It will carry enough gear for a full scale expedition but is still a lightweight canoe suitable for whitewater. Because of its big size, it spreads the load over a larger surface area and will float in shallower water yet it still only weighs 56 lbs!

Unlike other kayaks where a solo paddler has to paddle from the stern cockpit, Pakboats solo/double kayaks can be purchased with a solo or double deck – or both. This way, you can always get your kayak trimmed properly. Canoes and kayaks that you can pack for travel are generally folding or inflatable.

The unique Pakboats structures are also much lighter and pack smaller. Similar size inflatables weigh about 50% more than a Pakboat.
PakCanoe 165 as a length of 16.5 ft (5.05 m) and is narrower than the 160 and 170. The boat can be paddled by one or two people and has enough cargo capacity to carry two people and equipment for a two or more week expedition.

The bag’s bottom is padded with a foam pad to protect the rods’ shock cords. PakCanoe 150 is best if you like to paddle solo but want to have capacity for two people and camping gear for a week. It has good speed and tracks well on flatwater, yet performs well on Class III whitewater.
